The Story of Niejai Williams Photography
Niejai Williams started her photographic journey in Ypsilanti Community High School photo program. Where she was enlightened by instructor Nick Azzaro in the year of 2017. She began to realize how photography displayed who she was through her introverted nature. It was words she could not speak. Since this time Niejai has accomplished many things in her photographic journey.
In 2019, Niejai graduated high school and continued her studies at Washtenaw Community College to begin a degree in Photographic Imaging Applied in Science. Since being in the photo program she has learned Film and Darkroom, Large Format , Photo Imaging (Photoshop and Lightroom), Black and White Imagery, Color Management, Studio/Location photography and more. Niejai also has some experience in graphic design, animation and web development. In this journey she is inspired by Terry Abrams, Donald Werthmann, Micheal Smith and Amber Dietz.
Niejai plans on graduating in May 2022 from WCC as a Phi Theta Kappa member and will continue her education at College of Creative Studies in Fall of 2023.
She uses this website to display the projects/portfolios to see improvement in her work as she progresses. As well as get constructive feedback on the images.
